Who Are We?
We are foot & ankle specialists based in NYC with close to 10 years of experience helping you get back on your feet and doing the things you love. Whether it is walking, running, hiking, lifting, dancing, or intramural sports, our goal is to optimize your rehab, performance, injury prevention, and knowledge about your injury.
All sessions at our practice are completely 1 on 1.
Evaluation: After a thorough history is taken, we assess tender points, posture, active and passive range of motion, joint mobility, strength, balance, walking, running, and functional movement patterns (squatting, lunging, deadlifting, etc.). This will help to create an individualized home exercise program (HEP) tailored to your specific needs. We will then discuss your treatment plan and frequency. Physical Therapy is typically 1-3x/week for 4-8 weeks. This can change based on the patient and the case.
Follow Up: We are manual therapists at heart utilizing a multitude of hands on techniques (IASTM/scraping/Graston, cupping, mobilizing, stretching, nerve gliding, and more) to help reduce pain and improve pain free range of motion. This will help you tolerate functional exercise and tissue loading better for optimal long-term recovery.
Our goal is to implement activity-specific exercises, as this will help you return to what you love as quickly and safely as possible.
